SUPER NAPIER FARMING:


  • Super Napier can yield 180 to 200 tonnes per acre per year
  • Its leaf length are 6 - 8 cm broad.
  • They grow up to a high height 12 feet to 15 feet
  • Super Napier has high crisp leaves.
  • The cuttings are planted flat in the furrows, 70 centimeters (cm) apart, and covered with soil one to two inches thick.
  • After planting, irrigate to enhance germination.
  • 5 to 10 tons of organic fertilizer is recommended per hectare
  • Super Napier can be harvested eight times a year
  • First harvest can be done after 75 days
  • Subsequent harvest can be done after every 45 days
  • 45 days old chopped or shredded plant is suitable for pig, horse, chicken, rabbits and ducks
  • 45-55 days old well grown plant is good for cows, beef cattle and goats
